The international photo exhibition “Our Athos” continues at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in Chelyabinsk. Behind the photographs of Kostas Asimis is the history of Russian Athos, the life of monks and hermits, the life of the Holy Mountain and ancient monastery photographs. The guide will also tell you about the photo archive itself: over more than 40 years of work on Mount Athos, the author has collected about five thousand photographs. A separate part of the story is devoted to the connection of the Holy Mountain with the Southern Urals.
