The National Museum of the Romanian Peasant hosts an exhibition of contemporary tapestry and embroiderytranslated

At the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant, the exhibition "Traces among threads" will be opened on Wednesday, which brings together works of tapestry and contemporary artistic embroidery signed by the artist Ecaterina Dînga Mardari.

According to a press release sent by the cultural institution on the official Facebook page, the event will start at 18:00, in the Media Hall of the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant.

The organizers stated that the exhibition "brings together works of tapestry and contemporary artistic embroidery, in which the textile thread exceeds the material function and becomes an artistic language, memory and presence".

"Fabric is not just a support for the image, but a living space where memory, nature and inner experience meet and transform into artistic expression," the statement said.

Dialogue between tradition and contemporary expression Ecaterina Dînga Mardari is a trainee member of the Union of Visual Artists from the Republic of Moldova and an art teacher. Its activity is dedicated to contemporary tapestry and embroidery, developing, according to the organizers, "a subtle dialogue between the tradition of textile techniques and current plastic expression".
