The Teleorman County Museum marks 30 years since the establishment of the Diocese of Alexandria and Teleorman with an exhibitiontranslated

The Teleorman County Museum marks 30 years since the establishment of the Diocese of Alexandria and Teleorman and the ordination of the Most Reverend Father Galaction as a bishop through an anniversary exhibition, according to a post on the institution's Facebook page.
The presentation, opened on Friday, brings together documents related to the founding of the diocese, priestly vestments, liturgical and pastoral objects for the celebrations of the Nativity and Resurrection of the Lord.
At the same time, the two types of Orthodox calendars - wall and brochure -, albums and exhibition catalogs, volumes and periodicals, as well as leaflets and posters from cultural-religious events are presented. The exhibition also includes medals, commemorative plaques and picture postcards.
The representatives of the institution describe the varnished pieces as "witnesses of remembrance" and "fruits of the sacrifice", which reflect the course of the diocese in its three decades of activity.
The exhibition is organized by the Teleorman County Museum, under the coordination of the Teleorman County Council, in collaboration with the Episcopate of Alexandria and Teleorman, and can be visited until September 22.
