Moscow festive choir "Artos" in Kamchatkatranslated

On October 4, the Moscow festive choir “ARTOS” will perform the hymns of the Divine Liturgy at the Trinity Cathedral. The Liturgy begins at 9:00. At the end of the service there will be a concert for parishioners and city guests. The professional team was created in 2016. Its members include graduates of leading music universities with extensive experience in church singing. Artistic director and conductor - Varvara Volkova. She is also the secretary of the Church and Public Council under the Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' for the development of Russian church singing and the organizer of the combined children's choir of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The choir's repertoire is very diverse:
church music of the 19th–20th centuries; works by contemporary composers; chants in the ancient Russian singing tradition.
The secular program includes classical works and folk songs.
The choir actively participates in spiritual and cultural life: it performs at patriarchal services in the Kremlin and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, gives concerts at the Moscow Conservatory and other venues. His recordings are heard in television projects on federal channels.
