Anniversary moment in the United States of America: A Romanian parish celebrated its 25th anniversarytranslated

The Romanian parish dedicated to the Covering of the Mother of God, known as "Holy Mary" Church, in the city of Dacula, Georgia, United States of America, celebrated its 25th anniversary.

The festive moments took place at the end of last week, in which Metropolitan Nicolae of the two Americas participated.

The demonstrations began on Saturday with the celebration of Great Vespers together with the Litany. At the end of the service, His Eminence praised the contribution of the Holy Hierarch Martyr Antim Ivireanul to Romanian typographic culture and to the introduction of the Romanian language into worship.

The next day, Sunday, the program continued with the Holy Liturgy performed by the Most Reverend Father Nicolae, together with the parish priest Nicolae Clempuș and other priests invited to the parish celebration. At the end, there was a memorial service for the founders of the church who passed to the Lord.

Appreciation for priest and community The Metropolitan of the Two Americas congratulated the parish priest and the members of the community for the activity carried out at the "Church of Saint Mary" and offered the icon with the family of Saint Basil the Great, as well as an anniversary plaque, placed at the entrance to the place of worship.
