Metropolitan Nikita presented memorial signs to the employees of the sewing workshop of the parish of John the Baptisttranslated

On September 25, in the Bishops' House of Krasnoyarsk, Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk held an award ceremony for the employees of the volunteer sewing workshop of the parish of John the Baptist.

Bishop Nikita presented the women with memorial signs “165 years of the formation of the Krasnoyarsk (Yenisei) Diocese” and flowers, thanked them for their work for the glory of God and helping Russian soldiers at the front, and also blessed them for further work.

The parish of John the Baptist regularly interacts with volunteers delivering cargo to the North-Eastern Military District zone. The sewing workshop in the building of the Bishop's House in Krasnoyarsk produces things needed by soldiers on the front line. Volunteers do the sewing, the fabric is purchased with funds from church parishioners, and the rector, Archpriest Nikolai Shi-ke-min, works with organizations that send parcels to soldiers.
