Metropolitan Chrysostom reaffirms Serbian Orthodox Church’s commitment to peace and dialogue in Bosnia

Metropolitan Chrysostom of Dabar-Bosnia received John Ginkel, Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of the United States in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on July 15, 2026, at the headquarters of the Metropolis.
During the meeting, Metropolitan Chrysostom introduced his guest to the life and mission of the Metropolis of Dabar-Bosnia, highlighting the spiritual, cultural, and historical role of the Serbian Orthodox Church, as well as its enduring commitment to peace, dialogue, and cooperation with all people of goodwill.
The meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual respect and cordiality. At its conclusion, Ginkel thanked the Metropolitan for the warm welcome and the opportunity for an open and constructive discussion, while expressing his appreciation for the willingness to continue communication in the future.
The following day, July 16, Metropolitan Chrysostom also received Åge Sandal Møller, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark to Bosnia and Herzegovina, on his inaugural visit.
