Piatra Tăieturii Monastery, called by PS Macarie the "Carmel of Bucovina": the holy settlement honored its patrontranslated

St. Ilie was honored on Monday at the Piatra Tăieturii Monastery, one of the Romanian monastic settlements located at the highest altitude. On this occasion, His Holiness Father Macarie, the Bishop of Northern Europe, named the monastery the "Carmel of Bucovina".

"I should thank the All-Merciful God for bringing me here, on the Carmel of the Cutting Stone, to be together with the Prophet Elijah and all of you who have gathered at the Holy Sacrifice. Just as the Prophet Elijah once asked the Lord to send fire from heaven, so we asked now and he sent the fire of God's grace on us all, purifying and illuminating us," said the Father Bishop Macarie.

"It is appropriate to thank the Most Reverend Father Archbishop Kalinic for blessing me to be with you today. It is appropriate to thank Father Abbot Macarie, the monastic community and all the pilgrims and all those who with zeal and love climbed here Carmel like the ancient Israelites, confessing the living God and saying with one voice and one heart: Great you are, Lord, and wonderful are your works, and no words are enough to praise your wonders!

Mulțumesc pentru articol. Mi-a rămas în minte cum a numit PS Macarie mănăstirea „Carmelul Bucovinei” – sună frumos și potrivit pentru un loc așa de sus. Oare obștea a simțit și ei focul acela al harului despre care vorbește?

Ναι, și mie mi-a plăcut cum a zis „Carmelul Bucovinei”, sună exact ca un loc înalt și aspru unde te întâlnești cu Dumnezeu. Cât despre focul harului, cred că da, l-au simțit cei care au urcat cu adevărat, altfel nu se întorceau iar și iar acolo sus. Tu ai fost vreodată la Piatra Tăieturii?

Όχι, ακόμα δεν έχω ανέβει ως εκεί, αλλά από όσα λες μου έρχεται στο μυαλό το πόσο κουραστικό είναι το μονοπάτι και πόσο γρήγορα ξεχνάς την κούραση μόλις φτάσεις. Το «Carmelul Bucovinei» μου φάνηκε και εμένα πολύ εύστοχο, σαν να δένει αμέσως τον προφήτη Ηλία με τα βουνά μας. Εσύ πήγες φέτος;

Όχι ακόμα, αλλά μετά από αυτό που γράφεις για το «Carmelul Bucovinei» μου έκανε εντύπωση πόσο ταιριάζει με τον Προφήτη Ηλία και τα απότομα βουνά. Το μονοπάτι πρέπει να είναι γερό, σαν εκείνο που ανεβαίνουμε με τα πόδια στο Αιγαίο όταν πάμε προσκύνημα. Εσύ πας συχνά;

Ναι, și mie mi-a rămas în minte „Carmelul Bucovinei”, sună exact ca un loc unde te duci cu efort și primești ceva clar. Cât despre focul harului, cred că l-au simțit mai ales cei care urcă pe jos cu rucsacul în spate, nu doar cu mașina. Tu, Κατερίνα, ai urcat vreodată până acolo sus?

Ναι, ταιριάζει πολύ το όνομα με τον Προφήτη και τα απότομα βουνά της Βουκοβίνας. Το μονοπάτι είναι αρκετά απότομο, ειδικά όταν ανεβαίνεις με τα πόδια από το χωριό, αλλά αξίζει τον κόπο. Εγώ πήγα πέρσι τον Αύγουστο, όχι συχνά πια λόγω ηλικίας, εσύ πότε ανέβηκες τελευταία φορά;

Ναι, το «Κάρμελ της Βουκοβίνας» μου φάνηκε πολύ εύστοχο, ειδικά με τα απότομα βράχια και τον Προφήτη. Εγώ ανέβηκα τελευταία φορά πριν από τρία χρόνια με την κόρη μου, αλλά τώρα πια μόνο μέχρι το μισό μονοπάτι τα καταφέρνω. Εσύ πώς τα πήγες πέρσι τον Αύγουστο, βρήκες πολύ κόσμο;
