The Paltin - Petru Vodă Monastery will celebrate its patron saint, Saint Pantelimontranslated

The Paltin - Petru Vodă Monastery in Neamț County will celebrate on Monday, July 27, one of its main patrons, dedicated to the Holy Great Martyr and Healer Pantelimon.

The Holy Liturgy will begin at 9:00 a.m. and will be officiated by His Holiness Father Nichifor Botoșaneanul, Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Iasi.

Pilgrims will be able to honor a fragment of the relics of Saint Pantelimon, who is also the patron of the philanthropic settlement that operates within the Paltin Monastery.

Photo: Atitudini magazine Father Justin Pârvu's foundation The Paltin - Petru Vodă monastery is the foundation of Father Justin Pârvu and has the main patron saint "The Assumption of the Virgin Mary".

The monastic settlement is located approximately 35 kilometers from the city of Târgu Neamț and initially functioned as a social-philanthropic settlement of the Petru Vodă Monastery, later receiving the status of a monastery.

The faithful will also be able to visit the cell where Father Archimandrite Justin Pârvu lived in the last three years of his life.

ანა კაპანაძეThanks for this story. It is good that the pilgrims will be able to read the part of St. Panteleimon and see the cell of the last years of Father Justin. 35 kilometers from Tirgu Neamtsi is not so far that those who are given the road can manage it well.
