"The Life and Akathist of the Holy Lady Maria Brâncoveanu" appeared at the Publishing House of the Biblical and Orthodox Mission Institute, being available both in standard and in a small format edition.
The editorial is part of the collection "Acathetes and Lives of Saints" and includes biographical data and prayers composed in honor of the new saint.
Mrs. Maria was an example of wisdom, gentleness and steadfastness in faith for her sons and daughters. The royal palace was, in her time, not a place of vain glory, but of humble service. She took great care of the good order of the house, the upbringing of the children and the mercy of the needy, it is specified in the synaxar of the saint.
The akathist was compiled by Hieroschimonach Iosif Cișmaș from the Mihai Vodă Monastery in Bucharest and was approved by the Theological, Liturgical and Didactic Commission of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church.
