A pastoral center dedicated to Bishop Vasile Flueraș will be set up at the site of the "Saints Peter and Paul" Church, known as the Monastery Cathedral.

The new settlement will include a chapel, a multipurpose hall, a dining room, equipped with a professional kitchen, which will also have a social side, a museum space, a parish library, as well as modern sanitary facilities.

According to the parish, the pastoral center will bear the name of the worthy Bishop Vasile Flueraș, a native of the monastery and priest of the community between 1977 and 1991. The basement chapel will be dedicated to "Saints Pelagia and Taisia", celebrated on October 8, a day that commemorates the hierarch's transition to eternal life.

"For eight months, the architect Gheorghe Chistol has been working in detail on the plans for the future basement, and the actual work will begin in the coming days. We want to hold a blessing service for the beginning of the works on October 8," said the parish priest Dan Cismaș.
