His Eminence Father Joachim, Archbishop of Roman and Bacău, served on Thursday at the Tisa Silvestri Monastery in Bacău county, where he spoke about the Transfiguration as man's ascent towards the light of God.
His Eminence emphasized that Mount Tabor means the continuous ascent to God and explained that man needs spiritual preparation to share in His light: "If you do not have a state of grace, you cannot see Him, you cannot feel Christ."

His Eminence spoke about the three triads present on Mount Tabor: the Persons of the Holy Trinity, the Savior Christ together with Moses and Elijah, and the three apostles who witnessed the miracle.
"We must open the eyes of the mind and the ears of faith to perceive this mystery that happened on Mount Tabor," said the Archbishop of Roman and Bacău.
