The icon of the Mother of God "The Guide" was honored on Thursday at the Neamț Monastery.

The holy odor was carried in procession from the large church of the monastery to the outer altar of the place of worship, where the Holy Liturgy was celebrated.

Source of comfort At the end of the service, Archimandrite Benedict Sauciuc thanked the clergy, monks and pilgrims who participated in the services dedicated to the celebration, urging them to remain under the protection and guidance of the Mother of God.

"First, we raise words of praise to God, the worshiped Trinity, then we thank the Most Holy Theotokos for the blessing of having lived together the joy of this chosen holiday," said the Father Abbot.

"We ask her to remain the constant Guide of our lives, to strengthen us in the right faith, to guide us on the path of salvation and to pour peace, blessing and joy over this holy monastery, over our country and over the whole good-faith people".
