Old-style temple at a Ukrainian parish in Crasna Vișeului, Maramureștranslated

The Ukrainian parish from the Maidan-Preloha hamlet, located in the Maramures commune of Crasna Vișeului, celebrated its patron saint on Monday according to the unrevised calendar: "The Cathedral of the 12 Apostles".

The Holy Liturgy was officiated by Father Vasile Ardelean together with Father Viorel Brotnei from the Bistra Ukrainian Orthodox Parish, with Father Mihai Sacalos from the Valea Vișeului Ukrainian Orthodox Parish, with Father Mihai Maghiar and Ierom. Athanasius from the Petrova monastery, and with Father Alin Cozuc from the Romanian Orthodox Parish of Tisa, Maramureș county.

Father Mihai Sacalos gave the teaching word in Ukrainian, and Father Viorel Brotnei gave the teaching word in Romanian. The two clerics addressed a call to unity, mission and living according to the example of the Holy Apostles.

Continuity and identity The patron program included the Sacrament of St. Maslu, as well as a procession. At the celebration, many believers from the community participated in traditional Ukrainian clothes.
