His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel Celebrates the Nativity of the Birthgiver of God at Holy Cross Parish in Hollywood, Florida

HOLLYWOOD, FL — On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, the Feast of the Nativity of the Birthgiver of God, His Eminence Archbishop Nathaniel of Detroit and of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of America, was among the clergy and faithful of Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Church in Hollywood, Florida, in the Miami metropolitan area, where he officiated the Holy and Divine Liturgy.

Assisting His Eminence were V. Rev. Fr. Silvius Sfera, parish priest; V. Rev. Fr. Cosmin Vint of Saint Nicholas Romanian Orthodox Parish in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada; Rev. Fr. Florin Lăpuște, attached priest at Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Parish in San Jose, California; Rev. Fr. Nicolae Codiță, attached priest of Holy Cross Parish in Hollywood; and Rev. Hdn. Benedict Oancea.

The celebration of the Nativity of the Birthgiver of God brought together clergy and faithful in prayer and communion as the Church commemorated the birth of the Most Holy Virgin Mary, through whom the mystery of the Incarnation began to be revealed to the world.
