The National Coordination Center of HELPHELLAS Volunteers and the offices of HELLAS HELPBANK in Kifissia, where the nationwide operation to gather and prepare humanitarian aid for those affected by the devastating earthquake in Venezuela is in full swing, was visited by the ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Greece, Mr. Freddy José Fernández Torres, The Ambassador was welcomed by the President of HELPHELLAS and HELLAS HELPBANK, Giorgos Gambierakis together with the Vice President Antigoni Oraiopoulou, together with volunteers, partners, representatives of agencies and members of the mission's organizational team.

During the visit, a detailed briefing was held on the course of the nationwide campaign, the network of collection points in Greece and Cyprus, as well as on the process of receiving, recording, sorting and packaging humanitarian aid, which is carried out daily by dozens of volunteers.

The Ambassador was guided around the premises of the HELPHELLAS National Coordination Center, talked to the volunteers and was informed about the planning of the mission.
