Thank you, Radmila. It's really nice that you in Montenegro remember that date, the same here in Serbia. Did you perhaps hear if your priests also received similar medals on the occasion of the jubilee?

That's a nice recognition for the Metropolitan. My father fought in the Red Army and always spoke about the heavy battles around Belarus in '44, so these anniversaries hit close to home. I wonder if any of our local priests here in the States received something similar for the 80th.

Yes, that date is respected here in Montenegro, and I heard that some of our priests were awarded similar medals on the occasion of the 75th anniversary. In your country in Serbia, were they only church ones or state ones as well?

Thank you Radmila, I'm so glad you mentioned it. Here in Banja Luka, every year on July 3, candles are lit for those who fell for liberation, and I remember how my late father told me about the partisans who passed through our village. Did you perhaps go to a commemoration this year?
