The head of the Krasnoyarsk Metropolis will lead a prayer service at the worship cross on Strelkatranslated

On September 21, on the feast of the Nativity of our Blessed Lady Theotokos and Ever-Virgin Mary, Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk will perform a prayer service at the worship cross on the Strelka - between the Philharmonic building and the Krasnoyarsk Museum Center, where the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary will be erected.

The entire clergy of the city of Krasnoyarsk will pray at the prayer service. Parishioners of Krasnoyarsk churches and everyone are invited to take part in the cathedral prayer.

Also, September 21 will mark exactly one year since the laying of the cornerstone of the cathedral. The place to recreate the main church of the city was chosen by His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' in 2012, during a visit to the Krasnoyarsk Metropolis.
