Participation of the Diocese of Accra in the work of the "Ghana Sanitation & Clean Environment Conference 2026"translated
The Holy Diocese of Accra participated in the proceedings of the “Ghana Sanitation & Clean Environment Conference 2026” and “The Clean Conference”, which took place on August 21, 2026 at the CEDI Convention Center, Accra, Ghana. The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Accra, Mr. Daniel, was represented by the Most Reverend Protopresbyter Fr. Irenaeus Opoku Ayeh.
The event was held at the initiative of the Christian Council of Ghana, of which the Orthodox Church is an active member, confirming its long-term contribution to inter-Christian dialogue and joint actions to address important social and environmental challenges.
The local Orthodox Church in Gans continues to support every initiative that promotes environmental protection, sustainable development and the cultivation of responsibility towards God's creation.
