Bishop Benedict consecrated a church in Sălaj county: It is God's gifttranslated

On Sunday, Bishop Benedict of Sălaj consecrated the "Holy Apostles Peter and Paul" Church of Bozna Parish. On this occasion, His Eminence emphasized that the place of worship "is God's gift" to the community.
The hierarch explained the spiritual significance of the consecration of a church, describing this moment as a moment when "heaven approaches the earth" and the church becomes the place of communion between Christ and people.
"The Church is the bride of Christ and all the ordination we have performed leads us towards this understanding. What does wedding mean? It means closeness," said His Eminence.
Starting from a word of the Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel, the Bishop of Sălaj showed the significance of the church in the life of the community: "A church, until its works are finished, is man's gift to God. From the moment of consecration, it is God's gift to us, the people."
"Now, our houses are beautiful, and the church must be the most beautiful house in the village. It is God's house."
