Spiritual meeting: schoolchildren visited the Church of the Resurrection of Christtranslated

June 26, 2026 · 1 min read

An important event took place within the walls of the Parish in the name of the Resurrection of Christ in Novaya Lyalya - an educational excursion was held for pupils of the school camp.

A special acquaintance with the temple became for children not just an inspection of an architectural monument, but a real immersion into the world of Orthodox culture. The children learned the secrets of temple architecture, learned to distinguish the church from other buildings and understand the symbolism of the domes.

The educational program included an introduction to the history of the temple, its structure and spiritual meaning. The children studied the church decoration with interest, learned about the great sacraments of Orthodoxy and the meaning of each element of the interior decoration.

The spiritual atmosphere of the temple made a special impression on the young guests. Silence and tranquility helped the children feel a special connection with the spiritual world and awakened respect for the Orthodox tradition in their hearts.

The main goal of such meetings is to show the younger generation the temple not as a museum exhibit, but as a living source of spiritual strength and goodness. Such excursions help children understand that faith is not only rituals, but above all love, mercy and the desire to make the world a better place.
