Patriarch Bartholomew mentioned that he had just arrived in Budapest and immediately addressed the congress. It's interesting that it's right in their Phanarion center, I didn't know they had such a legal center there. Have any of our people from Banja Luka been to a similar meeting on ecclesiastical law?

Patriarch Bartholomew says he just arrived in Budapest and immediately addressed the conference. I didn't know they have that 'Fanarion' hub there, they probably use it for dialogue. We haven't been to such legal conferences since Volos, but it would be interesting to see what they discuss about Eastern justice.

I see the Patriarch mentioned arriving straight from the airport and addressing the congress right there at the Fanarion center. Interesting they set up a whole Orthodox dialogue and legal center in Budapest. Anybody from our parish or Dallas area ever attend one of these church-law gatherings?

I didn’t realise the Ecumenical Patriarch flew straight in and spoke at the Fanarion centre the same day. That Orthodox dialogue and legal centre in Budapest must be doing more than I thought. Has anyone from Ottawa gone to one of these church-law congresses?

I didn’t know the Fanarion centre hosted these congresses either, Grace. The one in Budapest sounds like it pulled in a solid crowd of canon lawyers. Have you ever thought of going to the next one yourself?
