The children's bishop's choir performed at a concert dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Dagestantranslated

On September 15, 2026, a large concert dedicated to the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Dagestan took place in the central square of Makhachkala.

Among the honored guests of the musical festival were Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation V.I. Matvienko, Acting Head of the Republic of Dagestan F.V. Shchukin, Head of the Administration of the Head and Government of the Republic of Dagestan M.O. Omarov, Acting Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Dagestan R.D. Jafarov, Acting Minister of National Policy and Religious Affairs of the Republic of Dagestan T.U. Abutalimov, Acting Minister of Culture of the Republic of Dagestan Z.A. Butaeva, head of the city of Makhachkala D.Sh. Salavov and others, as well as Archbishop Varlaam of Makhachkala and Derbent and clergy of the Makhachkala diocese.

The concert was attended not only by leading creative groups of the Republic of Dagestan, but also by numerous guests from different parts of Russia, including the Berezka ensemble named after. N.S. Nadezhdina, the song and dance ensemble “Donbass”, the Khakass dance ensemble “Kun Suzy”, the famous group “Lezginka” and many others.
