Children from Sunday schools in Perm spent their day off working and socializing at a rural churchtranslated

Prikhody.ru 09/22/2026. A children's and youth meeting of Sunday schools of the first and second Kungur church districts of the Perm diocese was held on September 19 in the village of Ershi on the territory of the church in the name of the Holy Great Martyr Paraskeva Pyatnitsa.

Young parishioners of five churches and two monasteries in the Perm region met for joint prayer, work and acquaintance with the history of their native land. A prayer service was held in the guest tent to the holy martyr Grand Duchess Elisaveta Feodorovna. Then the pupils visited the ethnographic exhibition of the spiritual and educational center “RODNOE” and got acquainted with the materials presented at the poster exhibition “August Journey: Grand Duchess Elisaveta Feodorovna and the Princesses of Battenberg in the Perm Province.”

An important part of the rally was the labor landing: the guys took an active part in the improvement of the church area, and also helped with the placement of firewood for winter heating.
