On September 9, 2026, the ark with the right hand of St. Spyridon of Trimythous, which is now being carried across Russia, made an unscheduled visit to the city of Novosibirsk.

This happened due to the fact that on the way to Chelyabinsk, the plane with the ark was forced to make an unscheduled landing at the Novosibirsk airport for refueling, reports the site for bringing the shrine.

This circumstance, as noted, led to the fact that “the shrine briefly visited Novosibirsk soil: the delegation accompanying the shrine temporarily left the ship along with the ark, and a representative of the Greek Church sang the troparion.”

The organizers of bringing the right hand of St. Spyridon to Russia hope that this small miracle will be a consolation to all believers expecting help from him.

It is clarified that earlier, in 2019, an ark with a particle of the relics of St. Spyridon was already brought to Novosibirsk. Then thousands of city residents came to venerate the shrine.
