Red Cross Bavaria supports vulnerable communities in the Archdiocese of Sibiu through a new social-philanthropic action.

The German delegation, made up of seven volunteers and coordinated by Harry Hoffmann, was received on Tuesday by missionary Father Tiberiu Kiss, representative of the Social Assistance Department of the diocese.

The members of the Bavaria Red Cross brought products intended for the beneficiaries of the Home for the elderly in Agnita and the students of the Secondary School in Brădeni and School no. 2 from the municipality of Sibiu.

Teaching and stationery materials, adjustable benches and clothing and hygiene items were prepared for the educational units. The elderly received specialized beds for those with locomotor impairments and medical equipment.

The action was carried out by the Department of Social Assistance of the Archdiocese of Sibiu together with the Association "Humanitare Hilfe" of the Bavarian Red Cross, the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen branch in Germany.
