Release: 19 years since the enthronement of Blessed Father Daniel as Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Churchtranslated

On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, the Romanian Orthodox Church celebrates 19 years since the enthronement of Blessed Father Daniel as Patriarch.

On this occasion, between 09.00-11.00, the Holy Liturgy will be celebrated in the Patriarchal Cathedral.

After the Holy Liturgy, from 11:00 a.m., the Te Deum service will be celebrated in the Patriarchal Cathedral, as thanks to God for the blessings poured into the life of the Romanian Orthodox Church during the 19 years of patriarchal service of the Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel.

Next, at 12.00, in the Europa Christiana hall of the Palace of the Patriarchate, a festive moment will be organized, in which the hierarchs, members of the Metropolitan Synod of the Diocese of Muntenia and Dobrogea, members of the Permanence of the National Church Council and members of the Permanence of the Diocesan Center of the Archdiocese of Bucharest will participate.
