With the blessing of Archbishop Theodore of Peter and Paul and Kamchatka, the miraculous icon of the Most Holy Theotokos “Tenderness,” which arrived in Kamchatka from the Pskov-Pechersky Monastery, was delivered to the parishes of the diocese. On August 19, on the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, the Shrine was brought to the church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in the village of Sokoch, where a prayer service was held in front of the icon. The miraculous icon is accompanied by Hieromonk Nestor (Smirnov), secretary of the diocesan administration; hieromonks of the Pskov-Pechersky Monastery Savva and Anatoly. On August 20, the Divine Liturgy took place in the Church of the Epiphany; during the service, the icon of the Most Holy Theotokos “Tenderness” was located in the center of the church. Then the Shrine was delivered to the Ust-Kamchatka region, to the location of the space forces, then to the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Klyuchi.

On August 21, in honor of the arrival of the icon, a Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Church of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Ust-Kamchatsk. The service was performed by the rector of the church, Priest Sergius Leshchev. During the day, prayers were served in the church in front of the “Tenderness” icon of the Most Holy Theotokos.
