My older daughter is finishing 8th grade this year too, so 2027 is exactly her turn. The article says the final version comes out in November, but it doesn't mention math or Russian at all. Wonder if they'll actually tweak those before then or leave them alone.
My older one went through the math changes a couple years back and they did tweak the structure a bit even after the first draft, so I wouldn't be surprised if they still adjust those two subjects before November. Does your daughter already know what she's leaning toward after school? That might tell us which parts of the exams will matter most for her.
