The Central Committee serves as the chief governing body of the WCC until the next assembly, meeting every 2 years. It is responsible for carrying out the policies adopted by the Assembly, reviewing and supervising WCC programmes and the budget of the Council.

She noted that our church does not use orange cards for voting, only white or blue ones - as in the altar of our parish church in Poltava, where we learn from childhood to openly meet church decisions.

Those orange cards made me think of the orange cloth we use for St. John's feast at St. George's here in Wichita.
