It is good that the cardinal speaks directly about prayer for unity, and not just about meetings. In Moscow, we also sometimes have such joint prayers with Catholics in parishes, but real unity is still a long way off. I wonder what exactly was discussed at this conference?

Thank you, Vasily, for mentioning joint prayers in Moscow. In our Samara parish we also had such meetings with Catholics a couple of times, mostly conversations over tea after the service. I’m also curious about what exactly was discussed at the conference, especially about practical steps towards unity.

Thank you, Galina. In Voronezh, after such tea parties, we also most often talk about how to celebrate holidays together without arguing. And at the conference, apparently, they talked more about joint projects for young people and helping refugees. In Samara after the service you have tea with Catholics - how many people usually gathered?

Thank you, Vasily. In Yekaterinburg, too, once after the liturgy, Catholics came for tea and talked about the holy fathers, but things didn’t go further than talking. Do you know if at the conference they outlined at least some practical steps or again just general words?

In Samara, after the service, about 15–20 people usually gathered, no more, and most often the conversations also boiled down to how we could celebrate Christmas together without theological battles. But we hardly talked about youth projects and refugees, which is a pity. Georgy, do these joint tea parties happen often in Voronezh or once a year?

Thank you, Galina, for the story about Samara. In Krasnodar, after the liturgy, Catholics also sometimes stay for tea, but usually there are five or six people, and the conversations are more about how to organize camps for children together. And at the conference, as far as I understood from the report, O’Malley suggested starting with such small general matters, and not with big statements. Has anything changed in the relationships in your parish after these meetings?
