The chapel of the Municipal Hospital in Rădăuți was consecratedtranslated

The "Holy Doctors Without Silver Cosma and Damian" chapel was consecrated on Saturday by Bishop Macarie of Northern Europe and Vicar Bishop Damaschin Dorneanul of the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuţi.

After the blessing of the restoration works, the two hierarchs celebrated the Holy Liturgy at the specially arranged exterior altar.

The Reverend Father Macarie emphasized that God does not allow man a test beyond his strength, but gives him, along with it, the grace and strength to overcome it.

"The Savior Jesus Christ, before placing the cross on your shoulders, looked at it with His most beautiful eyes, examined it with His divine reason, checked it with His incomplete justice, warmed it to His merciful heart and weighed your strength, so that it would not be heavier than you can carry, then He blessed it and placed it on your shoulders," said the hierarch.

"And if you happen to be weak, like the Lord who also weakened them, climbing Golgotha, and you collapse, like Him, under the cross, He Himself will come to your aid, because a man, Simon of Cyrene, was called to help the Lord as well", His Eminence added.
