Twenty sisters of mercy from Briansk city and the surrounding area completed a stint at Saint Alexius Hospital, part of the Russian Orthodox Church.
With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexander of Briansk and Sevsk and under the guidance of the head of the Briansk Eparchial Community of Mercy, Archpriest Ilia Burdukov, representatives from all the communities in the eparchy participated in the training – sisters from the "White Sails" Orthodox Service in Briansk, sisters from the parish in honor of Saint Elizabeth the Martyr, as well as sisters from the villages of Vygonichi and Navlya.
