During the service, intense prayers for peace were offered.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the archpastor congratulated the participants on their reception of the Holy Mysteries of Christ and addressed the worshipers with a word of fidelity to God. The Bishop emphasized that Christian life should not be limited to the external fulfillment of church institutions: faith should be manifested in deeds, attitude towards others and everyday life. Referring to the example of the Maccabean martyrs, who remained faithful to God in the face of suffering and death, Archbishop Stephen called on believers to confirm their faith through actions and maintain the sincerity of their Christian life.
