Another trip was organized for the Club of Mothers of Participants in the special military operation “Moms of Heroes” to the Assumption St. George Monastery “Holy Bushes” (Bashkiria). The pilgrims were met and given a tour of the monastery, and rector Archimandrite Varlaam (Maksakov) spoke about the history of the opening of the cross as a sign of veneration of the holy noble prince Alexander Nevsky.

A special place was occupied by the pastor’s communication with the mothers and wives of military personnel. The conversation touched on the topic of waiting for a loved one from a special military operation. Those who came to the monastery prayed for the health of the soldiers and for the repose of those who gave their lives for the Fatherland.

“Such trips and communication between mothers and wives and with clergy help support our families, give moments of peace and unity, and preserve the memory of the heroic deeds. After visiting the monastery, a bright trace remains in the soul for a long time, peace and confidence that everything will be fine for our children,” Elvira Ibragimova, the head of the “Mothers of Heroes” club, quotes the public of the Ufa diocese on the social network “VKontakte”.
