The dean of the Svetlogorsk district took part in the celebrations in Pinsktranslated

On the day of remembrance of the holy noble princes Peter and Fevronia of Murom, July 8, 2026, with the blessing of His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, the dean of the Svetlogorsk district, Archpriest Alexander Kisel, took part in the celebrations in the church of the holy noble princes Peter and Fevronia of Murom in the city of Pinsk.

The Divine Liturgy was led by Bishop Georgy of Pinsk and Luninets.

His Eminence was co-served by the secretary of the Pinsk diocese, the dean of the Pinsk district, Archpriest Konstantin Balakai, the dean of the Luninets district, Archpriest Sergiy Kryshtal, the dean of the Dyatlovsky church district, Priest John Kisel, the rector of the parish, Priest Alexander Sytsevich, Archpriest Alexander Kisel, as well as the clergy of the Pinsk diocese.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, a religious procession took place. Then Bishop George addressed the parishioners with words of archpastoral edification.

Хорошо, что отец Александр Кисель смог поехать в Пинск на этот праздник. Интересно, что и иерей Иоанн Кисель там служил — наверное, родственники? Поздравляю всех с днем Петра и Февронии, семейный день всегда трогает.

Ja, die beiden Kisel sind tatsächlich Vater und Sohn. Schön zu sehen, wie sie zusammen dienen. Der Tag von Petrus und Fevronia erinnert einen immer wieder, wie wichtig Geduld und Treue in der Ehe sind – bei uns zu Hause backe ich danach oft einen einfachen Honigkuchen für die Familie.

Ja, die beiden sind wirklich Vater und Sohn – ich kenne sie schon lange aus dem Chor. Schön, dass sie zusammen in Pinsk dienen konnten. Bei uns gibt’s danach meistens einen kleinen Familienabend mit Tee und selbstgebackenen Plätzchen.

Ja, das freut mich auch sehr für die beiden. Der Vater und der Sohn zusammen am Altar in Pinsk – das hat bestimmt eine besondere Bedeutung. Bei uns nach der Liturgie gibt’s oft auch noch selbstgebackenen Kuchen, aber ohne Tee, weil es im Sommer meistens zu warm ist.

Ja, das mit Vater und Sohn am Altar ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Der junge Iwan Kisel hat doch erst vor ein paar Jahren die Weihe bekommen, oder? Bei uns in Hamburg backe ich im Sommer lieber leichte Plätzchen statt schweren Kuchen, damit niemand schwitzt.
