The Church of the New Nuns Parish in Botoșani was consecrated by the Reverend Father Nichifor Botoșaneanultranslated

The "Descent of the Holy Spirit" church of Călugărenii Noi Parish in Botoșani county was consecrated on Monday by His Holiness Father Nichifor Botoșaneanul, Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Iasi.

The funeral service and the Holy Liturgy were held on the feast day of the Holy Prophet Ilie Tesviteanul, in the presence of the faithful from the Ungureni commune and other localities of the county.

At the end of the service, the parish priest Daniel Alexandru Irimia received, from His Holiness Father Teofan, the Metropolitan of Moldova and Bucovina, the rank of Stavrophorian iconom. Also, benefactors of the parish community received diocesan orders and awards of merit for their support to the church.

The parish priest Daniel Alexandru Irimia thanked the hierarch, ministering clergy, authorities, benefactors, volunteers and believers who contributed to the organization of the event.
