Bible meetings in kindergartentranslated

In the preschool department of the Municipal Educational Institution "Secondary School named after A.P. Chekhov" a meeting was held between the rector of the Myronositsky Church in Istra, Priest Pavel Malkin, and the staff.

Father Paul spoke about the Bible - how it developed over the centuries and why its words still resonate in the hearts of people. There is also an important date this year: the 150th anniversary of the Synodal Translation of the Bible (it was completed in 1876). This is the same translation that became for many the first step towards becoming acquainted with the Holy Scriptures in Russian.

Such meetings help educators be even more attentive to spiritual and moral education—and pass on this acquired knowledge to children, carefully and with love.
