His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, took part in a meeting of the Presidium of the Gomel regional organization of the Belarusian Red Cross Society, which took place on October 2 at the Gomel Regional Executive Committee.

At the meeting, the main directions of activity of the regional organization for nine months of the current year were considered.

Participants discussed the results of work to train the population in first aid skills. Information was also presented on the activities of the Crisis Center of the Gomel Regional Organization of the Belarusian Red Cross.

A separate item on the agenda was the introduction of changes to the composition of the Presidium of the regional organization.

In conclusion, the participants reviewed current issues in the activities of the Gomel regional organization of the Belarusian Red Cross.
