Archbishop Stefan took part in the celebrations in honor of the Venerable Martyr Athanasius of Bresttranslated
On September 18, 2026, at the St. Athanasius Monastery of Brest, celebrations were held dedicated to the memory of the Venerable Martyr Athanasius, Abbot of Brest. His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, took part in the service.
The conciliar Divine Liturgy was led by His Eminence Veniamin, Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavsky, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus. His Eminence was co-served by Archbishop Stefan, bishops and clergy of the Belarusian Orthodox Church.
