On September 23, 2026, at the Palace of Culture “Mir” in the city of Reutov, a regional open lesson “Spiritual Springs of the Moscow Region” was held, dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia.

The event was attended by about 1,000 schoolchildren - students in grades 6-8, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Moscow Region, heads of secondary and Orthodox schools, teachers of the subjects "Spiritual Local History of the Moscow Region" and "Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture." For schoolchildren who were unable to attend the celebration, a live video broadcast of the event was organized.

The Patriarchal Vicar of the Moscow Metropolis, Metropolitan Pavel of Krutitsky and Kolomensky, the First Deputy Minister of Education of the Moscow Region A.V. Grebtsova and the head of the Reutov city district A.S. Kovyazin addressed the participants with welcoming words.
