The Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuţi will celebrate World Education Day with a special programtranslated

The diocesan program "Children's Liturgy" will be held on Sunday and Monday on the occasion of World Education Day. It is organized by the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuţi in partnership with the Suceava County School Inspectorate.

The initiative was born from the idea that the participation of children and young people in the Holy Liturgy complements the Christian training offered through the religious class.

On Sunday, October 4, the Children's Liturgy will be celebrated at the Archbishop's Cathedral in Suceava and is dedicated both to the children of the municipality of Suceava and to those of the entire county.

Also, on the same day and Monday, October 5, the Children's Liturgy will be held in all the churches in Suceava county that are enrolled in the initiative of the program.

Children who will participate in the service can be accompanied by parents, grandparents and/or teachers.

The tradition has been going on for five years The project started in 2022, when 30 parishes and two monasteries in the diocese were involved. In 2024, it expanded, with 60 churches involved. At the same time, the initiative grew from year to year, and in 2025 the number of churches reached approximately 74.
