The third home built by the Archdiocese of Suceava and Rădăuţil for the families affected by the floods in the city of Broșteni was offered on Sunday as part of the support campaign initiated following the floods in the summer of 2025.
As part of the inauguration program, a blessing service was held for the new building, as well as a memorial service for the people who passed to the Lord after the tragic moment.
Father Andrei Mocanu, counselor at the Social-Philanthropic Sector within the Archdiocese of Suceva and Rădăuțil, emphasized that the representatives of the diocese remained with the people affected by the floods, recalling the support offered throughout this period.
"What was destroyed in one night, the whole community, the whole Christianity in our country, but also from abroad, was called to reside," said the councilor father.
"We succeeded together and on this day when, through the service of blessing and consecration of the house, the works of the last period were crowned and blessed, in which a new home was rebuilt from scratch for this family."
