The Archdiocese of Argeș and Muscel donated hygiene products worth 18,000 lei to the Pediatric Hospital in Pitesti. The action was carried out by the Social-Philanthropic and Mission Sector of the diocese.

"Our relationship with the hospital being an old one, it must be marked once every few months, because here also our babies, the babies of the people of Arges, arrive to be healed in their moments of suffering", declared, for Trinitas TV, Fr. Andrei Diaconescu, the diocesan councilor who coordinates the Social-Philanthropic and Mission Sector of the Archdiocese of Argeș and Muscel.

"We give glory to God that we can make such gifts and we hope that in the future we will have such meetings, both with the medical staff and with the patients of this hospital."

Dr. Tudor Ionescu, director of the medical unit, thanked His Holiness Father Calinic, Archbishop of Argeș and Muscel, emphasizing that the support received is a great help for balancing the hospital's budget.

It's good to see the relationship with the pediatric hospital is kept up regularly like that. 18,000 lei worth of hygiene supplies will definitely help those little ones and ease the budget a bit. Father Andrei's words about the local kids being treated there hit home.

It's nice they keep showing up every few months instead of just once. Those hygiene products add up quick when you're washing little hands and faces all day, and Father Andrei's point about our own Argeș kids landing there really stuck with me. Glad the director mentioned the long-term partnership too.

It's nice that they maintain the connection regularly every few months and not just once. 18,000 lei of hygiene products for the children in Pitesti sounds exactly right - especially when I know how often hands and faces are washed in such a hospital.
