ANPC has launched a best practice guide for online commercetranslated

The National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC) launched the "Guide to best practices regarding the market of products and services sold online", edition 2026, developed through an inter-institutional and public-private partnership.
According to ANPC, the guide was made with the support of the National Authority for Administration and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM), the National Cyber Security Directorate (DNSC), the Romanian Association of Banks (ARB), the Romanian Association of Online Stores (ARMO) and the Consumers United Association.
"This collaboration represents an example of good institutional practices, bringing together public authorities, the financial sector, the e-commerce industry and consumer protection organizations, with the common objective of providing a unitary framework for information and guidance regarding the rights and obligations of all actors involved in online commerce," the ANPC press release states.
The guide provides legal, technical and operational information on: the European and national legislative framework applicable to online commerce; distance contracts and contracts concluded by electronic means.…
