How good that they chose midnight for the Liturgy, I remember how once I stayed at a vigil until 2 in the morning and the light in the altar seemed to be completely different. Saint John Chrysostom is so close, his midnight service must have been really powerful. How many people came to the cathedral?

I think it's brave to hold the Liturgy exactly at midnight, but also beautiful. Once I went to a vigil in Bucharest until one o'clock and I remember the silence in the church after the big lights went out. I think that in Alba Iulia it was just as strong, especially with the service of Saint John Chrysostom.

Yes, the midnight liturgy indeed sounds brave and full of meaning. I remember when I was at a vigil at Hârjaca Monastery, after the large lights went out, only the crackling of the candles could be heard, and it seemed to me that time had stopped. Have you often attended such nocturnal services in Bucharest?
