AHEPA Grants $250,000 to Holy Cross School of Theologytranslated

On the occasion of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA), whose Supreme President is E. Chris Kaitson (E. Chris Kaitson), took the initiative to award scholarships totaling $250,000 to seminarians at Holy Cross School of Theology - Hellenic College (HCHC), in Brookline, Massachusetts. Representing the Union and its Supreme President, the Supreme Secretary, Themistocles Fragos, attended the celebration and spoke to the clergy about the importance and work of the School. He was joined at the event by the High Governor of Region 4, Greg Simones, and the secretary of the AHEPA Board of Directors, Alex Geourntas.
The scholarships were secured through the AHEPA Educational Foundation, thanks to the money raised by the Supreme President and the assistance of the "John George Tsitsos" Scholarship Fund. This is a particularly generous endowment, which will give for many more years to students of Greek origin the opportunity to continue their studies, fulfilling their goals.
