On September 11, on the day of the celebration of the Beheading of the Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, Bishop John of Shuya and Teikovsky celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Resurrection Cathedral in the city of Shuya.

Before the start of the service, Bishop John was congratulated on his Name Day by the Head of the Shuya municipal district, Sergei Aleksandrovich Babanov, and the Head of the Shuya urban district, Vladimir Ivanovich Ovrashko.

Concelebrating during the service with Vladyka were: Secretary of the Shuya Diocesan Administration, Dean of the Shuya District Churches, Archpriest Vasily Dobychin; the abbot of the Nikolo-Shartomsky monastery, Archimandrite Philip (Ponomarchku), dean of church districts, abbots and brethren of diocesan monasteries, clergy of the Shuya diocese. Liturgical chants were performed by the Bishop's Choir of the Resurrection Cathedral, as well as the choir of pupils of the Orthodox School named after St. Tikhon of Zadonsk.
