On September 10, on the eve of the day of remembrance of the Beheading of the Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga celebrated an all-night vigil in the Assumption Cathedral of the city of Ivanovo. In the church during the service there was an ark with part of the relics of the Prophet, Forerunner and Baptist of the Lord John.

Concelebrating with the Bishop were Hegumen Vitaly (Utkin), Hieromonk Macarius (Markish), Priest Ilya Bagaev, Priest Mikhail Kupriyanov, Priest Georgy Alekseev, Protodeacon Pavel Konik, Hierodeacon Avksentiy (Fokin), Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko) and Deacon Alexander Lityaev.

The proverbs were read by Hierodeacon Barnabas (Laguta).

The Six Psalms were read by Deacon Alexander Lityaev.

The liturgical hymns were performed by a choir under the direction of Deacon Kirill Shtanin.

Reader Ilya Novikov served as subdeacon.
