On July 8, on the eve of the feast of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God and the discovery of the relics of St. Tikhon of Lukhovsky, Metropolitan Joseph of Ivanovo-Voznesensk and Vichuga celebrated an all-night vigil in the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Ivanovo.
Concelebrating with the Bishop were Abbot Vitaly (Utkin), Priest Vladimir Serbinenko, Priest Mikhail Kupriyanov, Priest Georgiy Alekseev, Hierodeacon Avksentiy (Fokin), Hierodeacon Varnava (Laguta) and Hierodeacon Andrey (Datsko).
The liturgical chants were performed by a choir under the direction of Hieromonk John (Pletmintsev).
The Six Psalms were read by Hierodeacon Andrei (Datsko).
Reader Ilya Novikov served as subdeacon.
